It's amazing how many who should be rooting for McCain are endorsing Obama instead. That's good to see. I just hope that Palin won't take all the blame when it's all over and Obama is elected. I'm not wild about her at all but McCain deserves his fair share of scorn. As some have said before, if the 2000 McCain model was running his win might not be so tragic but the 2008 model is a huge lemon. If America takes it for a test drive they will be in trouble.

And haven't the GOPers already spun the hell out of this sordid tale? "They're a family...families work things out..." and I can't wait for the inevitable "At least she didn't get a nasty abortion!" I am so glad that Gustav wasn't any worse than it was...at least Bush will be speaking to the convention if only by satellite. I'm sure Cheney won't even make an appearance in any form. The GOP were trying so hard to show how much they care for New Orleand and make the convention into one big Live Aid concert. Do people really buy this? I hope not.
